Support for the enrichment and restoration of museum collections and heritage collections of libraries

The Occitanie Region supports "Musées de France" and public collectivités libraries with heritage collections in the restoration and enrichment of their collections

The program aims to promote the restoration and enrichment of collections of "Musées de France" and heritage collections of Occitanie libraries.

• The FRAM (Regional Fund for Acquisition for "Musées de France"),
• the FRAR (Regional Fund for Aid to Restoration of "Musées de France" collections)
• and the FRRAB (Regional Fund for Restoration and Acquisition for Libraries) are annually funded by the State and the Region.
  

Institutions can apply for:

1- under "Musées de France", for labeled collections,

• the FRAR for the restoration of objects,
• the FRAM for the purchase of major or remarkable works;

2- under libraries, the FRRAB, for the acquisition of heritage collections such as old books, incunabula, autograph letters and manuscripts, artist's books, etc. Furthermore, the FRRAB can be requested for the restoration and conservation of heritage collections, as well as their enhancement within the framework of specific operations...
