Support for investment in movie theaters

DEVICE DESCRIPTION

To strengthen the presence of movie theaters in rural areas and offer the Charente public quality screenings in comfortable theaters, adapted to accommodate people with disabilities

CALCULATION METHOD

Construction of a movie theater: 15% of an eligible expenditure capped at 153,000 € HT

Rehabilitation of a movie theater: 15% of an eligible expenditure capped at 76,000 € HT

Development and equipment of multimedia rooms / acquisition of cinematographic equipment: 30% of an eligible expenditure capped at 46,000 € HT

Transition to digital equipment: 10 to 30% (determined according to local funding) of an eligible expenditure capped at 90,000 € HT

Acquisition of digital audio description equipment and its subscription: 80% max (the rate will be adjusted according to other public funding requested) of an eligible expenditure capped at 3,500 € H.T

Other possible interventions: Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC), local authorities, inter-municipal cooperation establishments…
