The Occitanie Region wishes to support the organization of outreach projects prepared in collaboration with research laboratories and industrialists. The objective: to develop scientific culture among a wide audience

Context and objectives

In order to disseminate scientific culture to a wide audience, including schoolchildren, support is provided for the organization of outreach projects prepared in collaboration with research laboratories and industrialists and led by stakeholders working in a network across the entire regional territory.

To reduce inequalities in access to knowledge, the proposed actions aim to give young people a more dynamic vision of the contribution of science to society. They should allow them to discover scientific careers or technical professions that are often neglected, open up new horizons for them, particularly in terms of employment, and better understand the impact of innovation on our lives and for a better understanding of the world around us.
