Support youth policy in the territories

Objective: Support for EPCIs that have chosen to take on youth competence for the development of related policy in conjunction with professionals in the sector and associative structures in the territory

Type of aid and amount:

• Operating subsidy
• Aid calculated according to territorial criteria and distributed among the territories according to the envelope voted by the Departmental Assembly.

The aid is calculated according to 4 objective territorial criteria, weighted differently to take into account the specificity of each territory and to value the most rural territories:

• the number of young people under 20 in the territory: the higher the number, the more the EPCI is valued. This criterion represents 15% of the overall envelope.
• the number of Drôme middle school students: the higher the number, the more the EPCI is valued. This criterion represents 15% of the overall envelope.
• financial potential: the lower the financial potential, the more the EPCI is valued. This criterion represents 35% of the overall envelope.
• population density: The lower the density, the more the EPCI is valued (taking into account the distance from services). This criterion represents 35% of the overall envelope.
