Support for the artistic programming of the season (performing arts)

Context and objectives:

The circulation of artists and works is both a privileged development tool for artistic teams and a major issue for cultural regional planning.

Projects supported by the Region must allow for:

• a network across the regional territory;
• audience development through mediation and awareness-raising actions;
• the support and accompaniment of professional artistic teams in the regional territory;
• strengthening regional cooperation around the artistic projects of teams in the region and neighboring territories.

Beneficiaries:

Dissemination structures ensuring annual professional programming, generalist or specialized, playing a significant role in regional territorial planning. These structures commit in particular to hosting regional teams and disseminating works within a coherent and regulated framework.

Regional aid aims in particular to promote the cultural competence of inter-municipal communities. It thus encourages cultural development through quality action programs integrating the dissemination of professional performances and audience awareness.
