Support for the publication and dissemination of archaeological research

The Ministry of Culture supports the dissemination of archaeological research results by granting subsidies for the preparation of publications and the editing of works, as well as for the organization of conferences.

Subsidies granted by the Ministry of Culture as part of the support for the publication and dissemination of archaeological research are intended to help researchers publish the results of their research or organize conferences.

This research must demonstrate national or international interest through the exemplary or innovative nature of the methods developed, the importance or relevance of the results provided, the synthetic approach and the contextualization of a number of previously scattered results.
Regional archaeological research dissemination projects can be subsidized by the DRAC.

Three types of subsidies are granted:

• Aid for the preparation of a research publication. It allows for formatting work to obtain a publishable manuscript, structured with editable illustrations and a harmonized bibliography from field data.
