Support for archaeological and historical research

DEVICE DESCRIPTION

A partner in archaeological and paleontological research, the Department provides support for operations organized in the Charente territory (scheduled excavations, collective research projects, surveys, inventories, etc.)

CALCULATION METHOD

Research projects (excluding inventories): up to 50% of the estimated cost including VAT, the subsidy not exceeding €10,000. This ceiling may be exceeded for research projects taking place on properties belonging to the Department.

This percentage is defined according to:

• the archaeological and paleontological interest of the site
• mediation actions carried out on the site (site opening, conferences, etc.)

Support for inventories: up to 25% of the eligible expenditure including VAT
