Support for studies and work in drinking water and sanitation

The Departmental Council seeks to contribute to achieving the following objectives:

• Participate in territorial development and meet the needs of the population by organizing a quality water service;

• Protect, understand, and optimize water resources, particularly to take into account and anticipate the effects of climate change;

• Optimize the management of infrastructure assets;

• Move towards concerted, solidarity-based, and integrated water management;

• Improve the quality of water bodies as defined by the European Water Framework Directive.

Intervention methods:

Beneficiaries for construction operations are municipalities with a total population of less than 3,500 inhabitants or their groupings, who must have implemented, at a minimum and by choice:

• A water price greater than or equal to €1 excl. tax/m3 (including fees) based on a consumption of 120 m3/subscriber/year;

• A flat rate greater than or equal to €120 excl. tax/year (including fees).

For studies, the criterion on water price does not apply.
