Support for investment projects of Landais communities

The Municipal Equipment Fund (FEC) is intended to help Municipalities or Public Intermunicipal Cooperation Establishments in the form of capital grants for investment expenditures.

The FEC is distributed by the Departmental Council, among the cantons, as follows:

• 25% for a lump sum allocation that takes into account the number of former cantons united in the new canton, multiplied by the lump sum distribution divided by 30,
• 20% pro rata to the population,
• 45% pro rata to the number of Municipalities,
• 10% pro rata to the inverse of the fiscal potential.

However, the cantonal allocation cannot be:

• greater than a ceiling multiplied by the number of Municipalities (year 2024: 6,413 €)
• less than a floor multiplied by the number of Municipalities (year 2024: 3,944 €)

The floor and ceiling will be revised annually during the meeting dedicated to the examination of the Initial Budget.

For the population, the figures to be taken into account are those of I.N.S.E.E. following the last census and complementary censuses that have occurred since (total population without double counting in the population counted separately).
