Support for drinking water network distribution works

Access to quality drinking water is a major challenge in the Eure-et-Loir department. This is why the Departmental Council provides financial aid and support to local authorities in the department for works to improve distribution and secure drinking water supply (network interconnection).

The Department has thus thoroughly reviewed its system for 2024 to accelerate, in particular, the renewal of networks. Thus, expenditure rates and ceilings have been increased to strengthen support for local authorities.

The price of drinking water including tax must be equal to or greater than €2/m³. The calculation of the price of drinking water includes the fixed part distributed over 100 m³, the variable part (municipal, intermunicipal, operator), royalties (water agencies, departmental solidarity fund royalty, etc.) as well as taxes.

For the works below, the works must be carried out on the basis of a heritage study with a master plan proposing multi-year programming prioritizing the works to be carried out or at least at stage 1 (inventory). Existing studies must be less than 10 years old.
