Subsidizing road safety developments

This aid aims to subsidize communities for road safety developments (Prefecture decree) in compliance with current standards, particularly accessibility rules (Highway Code, CERTU guide advice, Departmental Road Regulations).

And for all work on the departmental public road domain: submission of a road authorization request to the relevant subdivision.

Subsidy for first category equipment: Development of bus shelters within the limit of 3/year (500 € or 800 € if bus shelter with lighting).

Subsidy for second category equipment:

• Study and implementation of traffic plans
• Creation of parking lots
• Intersection developments
• Traffic differentiation
• Works required by road safety requirements falling under the mayor's traffic police, i.e., in urban areas, on national, departmental, or communal roads (development of 30 km/h zones, raised crossings, directional islands, mirror installation, pedestrian paths along dangerous roads...)
• Securing pedestrian routes
• Cycle/pedestrian path – greenway along highly trafficked RD
