Attraverso questo avviso di opportunità di finanziamento (NOFO) orientato all'ingegneria, il National Cancer Institute (NCI) intende incoraggiare la presentazione di domande di sovvenzione per la ricerca bioingegneristica esplorativa/di sviluppo (EBRG) per dimostrare la fattibilità e la potenziale utilità di nuove capacità o miglioramenti in termini di qualità, velocità, efficacia, operatività, costi e/o accessibilità delle soluzioni a problemi nella ricerca biomedica di base, preclinica o clinica, nell'erogazione dell'assistenza clinica o nell'accessibilità.
