Support communities in investing in and implementing incentive-based pricing for public waste services or information dissemination

Incentive-based pricing for your public waste service reduces your community's environmental impact. To achieve this, ADEME has set up aid to facilitate your transition.

ADEME's aid is a lump sum and contributes to the community carrying out preparatory actions for:

• the creation of a user file and/or distribution of containers
  
• communication
  
• staff mobilization
  
• creation or adaptation of the pricing grid
  
• conducting trials in a test area

For the implementation of incentive-based pricing, it amounts to up to €12 per inhabitant.
For the implementation of individual information on usage, it amounts to up to €5 per inhabitant.

There is also aid for equipment.
For equipment enabling service monitoring as well as that required for the application of a pricing grid, aid can go up to 60% of eligible expenses.

This equipment aid concerns:

• chips on bins
  
• identification drums on collective collection points
  
• onboard computing
• software
