The Extreme Challenge (XD) Responsible Textile, during its ideation phase, aims to collect two types of projects:
- technical studies or research work: the development and support for research work and/or technical studies aim, on the one hand, to bring new knowledge on clothing issues, and, on the other hand, to develop new content (information, tools, methods, etc.) useful for the transition objective;
- territorial projects: they must aim to reduce clothing textile flows, while allowing the development of new economic approaches (service offers, evolution of business models, etc.). The issues raised involving several actors in the economic chain (consumers, traders, service providers, production, collection and recycling actors, etc.), the ideas brought must logically propose a collective approach to address the problems posed, by trying in particular to involve the essential consumer.
The selected technical and research studies and works will be contracted with ADEME in 2026 or 2027, depending on contracting deadlines and available budgets. Aid can go up to 50% of the expenses allocated to the project.
Territorial projects will be contracted in autumn 2026. …
