Support towards digital autonomy - Digital Advisor

The Digital Advisor program was launched in 2021 as part of the digital inclusion component of the France Relance plan. Today, 4000 digital advisors are deployed throughout France to support citizens in their daily digital uses.

Digital Advisors support French people on three themes considered as priorities:

• Support French people in their daily digital uses: working remotely, consulting a doctor, selling an object, buying online, etc.;
• Raise awareness of digital issues and promote civic and critical uses: getting informed and learning to verify sources, protecting personal data, mastering social networks, monitoring children's schooling, etc.;
• Support French people towards autonomy in carrying out administrative procedures online independently.

Host organizations, public or private, wishing to host one or more Digital Advisor(s) must register on the conseiller-numérique.gouv.fr platform. Their application will then be reviewed by their attached prefecture, responsible for providing a reasoned opinion to the Agence nationale de la Cohésion des Territoires, which allocates positions within the framework of a National Selection Committee.
