Act for the health and well-being of the inhabitants of the territory

The Pays de Ploërmel has been committed to health since 2005 and to a Local Health Contract since 2013.

To remain attractive, the territory needs to adapt its services to the emerging needs of the population. Weaknesses have been identified in the Pays de Ploërmel territory, particularly concerning health services and housing. These two themes are essential factors for attractiveness but also for the well-being of residents. It is essential that each resident understands the risks to which they are exposed in order to better protect themselves and their environment. The Covid-19 health crisis has also highlighted the strong interactions between human health and environmental health. Thus, it is about integrating health into public policies, and implementing it at the territorial level to reduce social and territorial health inequalities.
