Propose a kit to combat medical deserts

Faced with the progression of medical deserts, which today spares no French region, the regional executive wishes to strengthen its health policy by committing to a solidarity-based territorial development approach in terms of access to care, based on the intervention framework of the Kit to combat medical deserts.
Thus, the Region is committed to supporting municipalities and health professionals through a range of schemes, aids and tools, articulated around complementary intervention areas:

• Support for coordinated practice structures: regional multi-professional health centers or health centers;
• Installation of general practitioners in under-dense areas;
• Hosting general medicine students in the territories;
• Territorial accommodation for health students;
• Deployment of telemedicine and digital health;
• Improved access to emergency care.

Depending on the areas, the Kit is aimed at municipalities, local authorities and inter-municipal cooperation public establishments (EPCI), health establishments, liberal health professionals and groups of health professionals.
