Helping authors in Grand Est: creative writing grants, literary mediation residencies and literary creation residencies

The "Author Aid" scheme comprises three components:
- literary creation grants;
- literary mediation residencies;
- literary creation residencies.
These grants support literature in the region.

What is author aid?

Literary and mediation creation and residency projects are supported insofar as they help to boost literary creation in the Grand Est region, to bring out and promote talent, and to contribute to the quality and diversity of literary creation. The term "literary" is used here in a broad sense and concerns illustration, drawing and text.

This scheme comprises three different types of aid:

• literary creation grants, funded solely by the Grand Est Region;
• literary mediation residencies, jointly funded by the Grand Est Region and the DRAC Grand Est;
• literary creation residencies, jointly funded by the Grand Est Region and the DRAC Grand Est.

Three sessions are organized each year (only one for mediation residencies).
