Helping independent teams (decentralized aid for live performance - ADSV)

The The "decentralized aid for live performance" (ADSV) scheme forms the cornerstone of the Ministry of Culture's policy in support of artistic teams. This scheme supports independent artists or artistic teams so that they can develop their creative work and make it accessible to the widest possible audience (dissemination). It contributes to supporting the artist's or artistic team's journey in their creative dynamic with one-off grants (project aid) or multi-year agreements (agreements for 2, 3 or 4 consecutive years).

The decentralized aid for live performance (ADSV) scheme forms the cornerstone of the Ministry of Culture's policy in support of artistic teams.

In 2021, the scheme concerned:

• 1,412 artistic teams including:
  • 375 musical ensembles
  • 313 dance companies
  • 724 theater, circus and street arts teams
• €56M in credits allocated by the decentralized services of the Ministry of Culture in the regions
