Benefit from municipal aid for law enforcement

The "Safe Region" scheme allows eligible municipalities to apply for regional co-financing for the acquisition of equipment for municipal police services that benefit from a coordination agreement between the municipality and the State.

To modernize the conditions for carrying out missions assigned to State security forces in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, to strengthen the security of users of stations and public transport, to strengthen the security of students and staff of high schools, apprentice training centers, health and social training centers falling within regional competence, as well as their means of transport, and to strengthen the security of tourists, whose quality of reception is decisive for international attractiveness and the regional economic fabric.

Strengthened support for law enforcement agencies

The Region continues its commitment to law enforcement agencies, whether to municipalities for municipal police, national police and national gendarmerie, as well as to all those who contribute to the exercise of this competence.
