Develop public awareness in all areas related to the sea and coast

This involves developing public awareness in all areas related to the sea and coast (preservation of marine and coastal areas, short supply chains for seafood products, behavioral changes, etc.), using the Parliament of the Sea as a 'sounding board' to disseminate and share know-how, promote the maritime identity of our region, and develop knowledge of maritime professions to contribute to the development of maritime employment.
The aid granted consists of operating subsidies.

They are therefore examined on the basis of a specific program of activities or actions explicitly identified:

• On regional actions or campaigns on the protection of the marine and coastal environment, on behavioral changes, and on maritime heritage.
• On the promotion and development of maritime employment for everyone in the regional territory, on support for maritime employment (maritimization of skills, validation of acquired experience, etc.), on raising awareness among employment stakeholders about maritime economy professions, on supporting gender equality in maritime professions, and on contributing to the national objective of 32% mixed professions (compared to 12% currently.)
