The Region supports, as part of the "Security Shield", the development of video surveillance to combat public street crime, and in particular burglaries.

The project must be carried out in the Île-de-France region. It must comply with existing legislative and regulatory provisions regarding video surveillance, and in particular Article L251-2 of the Internal Security Code. It must be justified by a security diagnosis specifying the needs to be covered in terms of security and crime prevention in the territory concerned.

Communes and their ZSP groupings, in whole or in part, are prioritized.
