The Region supports, as part of the "Security Shield", the modernization of municipal police forces in Île-de-France and participates in securing public spaces.

The list of equipment eligible for regional aid is as follows:

1. In terms of equipment:

• weaponry provided for in articles R 511-12 et seq. of the internal security code (prefectural authorization required)
• bulletproof vests
• portable radio communication terminals
• body cameras
• vehicles
• vehicles with on-board cameras
• on-board cameras

2. In terms of security devices:

• barriers, bollards, posts
• gantries

3. Exceptionally, in terms of real estate equipment for municipal police services or premises:

• construction or renovation
