Extend public electricity distribution, public lighting and telecommunications networks

The SDED 52 has had the competence known as "public electricity distribution" since its origins.

In this regard, it owns and is responsible for the management of electricity distribution networks and relies on a concession contract with Enedis for the daily operation of the network.

In addition, the Syndicate acts as project owner for a certain number of works on the public distribution network, including operations to extend public electricity distribution networks, public lighting and telecommunications networks.

The main objective of these operations is to make the electricity distribution network available for new uses (housing, economic activity for example).

The SDED 52 acts as project owner and project manager for these operations and, according to the provisions of its financial regulations, calls for a contribution from the beneficiary which depends on the nature of the work to be undertaken.
