Facilitate the missions of S.N.S.M. volunteers within the perimeter of ports and nautical bases

The partnership between the Region and the S.N.S.M. is over thirty years old, and the sea rescue model provided by this associative structure, composed solely of volunteers, has benefited for many years from the support of the community, particularly concerning the equipment of the 21 stations distributed along the Provence-Alpes Côte d'Azur coastline with high-performance and secure navigation supports.

An agreement was signed in June 2020 which notably facilitates the exercise of their missions for S.N.S.M. volunteers within the perimeter of ports and nautical bases (access to the sea, reception areas, etc.).
Nautical clubs and structures are numerous on the Provence-Alpes Côte d'Azur coastline and play a facilitating role in access to the sea for all.
In this context, the community supports their efforts to acquire high-performance safety and navigation equipment.

• The National Sea Rescue Society.
• Port managers (local authorities, companies, associations, consular chambers).
• Nautical structures in associative form as well as municipalities managing municipal nautical bases.
