Funding for Engineering in Rural Territories

Through this program, the Grand Est Region is providing rural territories with resources for animating and networking public and private stakeholders in order to:

• connect or pool projects to develop services, activities, and jobs,
• enhance local partnerships,
• implement regional policies at the territorial level
• foster the emergence of structuring and interconnected projects: taking into account the green and blue infrastructure in the projects of municipalities and EPCIs,
• promote the energy transition,
• develop local crafts

Beneficiaries: Territorial and Rural Balance Hubs, mixed syndicates, or Pays associations.

Eligible Projects: Generalist or thematic project manager positions, excluding management and functional positions, secretarial, and finance.

Funding for a maximum of two positions per territory excluding urban communities and metropolises, and one position for territories including an agglomeration community.

A bonus under the Rurality Pact is planned.

Co-financing of a position funded under the Gal Leader is excluded; co-financing of a position funded by the State under a rurality contract is possible up to a total limit of 80% of the cost...
