What is it: INVESTMENT AFRICA 2026 – Second Edition is an economic and institutional forum dedicated to promoting partnerships, investments, and commercial exchanges between Africa, Italy, and Europe. The initiative brings together institutions, companies, trade associations, and investors, fostering international dialogue and cooperation. Egypt, a strategic hub for Mediterranean and African exchanges, represents a significant economic partner for Italy. In 2025, bilateral trade reached 5.69 billion euros, of which 2.87 billion was Italian exports and 2.82 billion was imports from Egypt. In the first four months of 2026, trade confirmed a positive trend, reaching approximately 2.02 billion euros, an increase compared to the same period in 2025.
