Manage and preserve water resources

It involves supporting the implementation of actions in favor of the sustainable and reasoned management of water resources at the watershed scale by monitoring the evolution of the quality and quantitative status of watercourses and aquifers, improving knowledge of the functioning of groundwater masses, supporting territories towards sobriety in water withdrawals and consumption, and searching for and promoting alternative resources (such as the reuse of treated wastewater).

Actions eligible for Regional aid fall within the "Water resource management" intervention framework, which notably includes the following measures: - Quantitative management of the resource and water savings - Quality of surface waters - Groundwater management.

• Public structures managing aquatic environments;
• local authorities and their groupings;
• departments;
• other public establishments;
• associations;
• research organizations.
