Conduct studies and protection actions for biodiversity

NATURE OF ELIGIBLE PROJECTS

The conservation of heritage biodiversity and ordinary environments, as well as ecological continuities, constitutes one of the key challenges of the ecological transition.

Three types of projects can be supported:

• Restoration of natural spaces contributing to the preservation or improvement of biodiversity/landscapes): creation of refuge or circulation areas for wildlife, creation of green corridors or belts, ecological development of edges, renaturation of urban brownfields...;
• Development of natural spaces allowing discovery of the site without harming the natural environment: creation of botanical trails...;
• Restoration/maintenance of linear or stepping stone ecological continuities (hedges, wetlands, groves).

FINANCIAL TERMS

Departmental council participation based on eligible expenses excluding tax with a fixed rate of 10% to 40%. If the project meets the bonus conditions, the amount of the subsidy will be increased by 20%.
