Carry out various development projects in line with the Interregional Scheme of the Alps Massif

The CIMA is part of an interregional approach that defines orientations at the scale of the Alps massif in all sectors of activity with a "mountain" specificity (tourism, services, agriculture, pastoralism, forest, energy transition). It is divided into two schemes: Valley Areas and non-Valley Areas.

The "CIMA Research and Networks" aid falls within the non-Valley Areas field:

• it is the interregional scheme specific to the Alps Massif Committee intended to carry out various development projects in line with the Interregional Scheme of the Alps Massif. Operations are registered by the State (Commissariat Général à Egalité des Territoires - CGET), potentially on the proposal of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur Region.

• Associations;
• local authorities and their groupings (communes, EPCIs, departments);
• public and private establishments;
• public and private companies;
• mixed syndicates (in particular Regional Natural Parks);
• public interest groups (GIP);
• network structures.

• Actions must serve the policy of the Alps Massif Committee;
• a multi-year objectives and means agreement may be established between the Region and the beneficiary.
