Preventing and combating illegal waste dumping

With the Cleanliness Fund, the Region supports Ile-de-France stakeholders who are committed to preventing and combating illegal dumping, in order to reduce their number and eradicate certain "black spots".

This scheme is eligible for the ecological participatory budget Opens a new window Opens a new window .

Projects must aim to undertake actions to sustainably reduce illegal dumping in all areas of the territory.

Grant application files must present the planned actions and detail all partners who will be associated with the approach.

The proposed action plan may include preventive and curative measures such as:

• Implementation of means to prevent illegal dumping such as barriers, surveillance devices, etc.,
• Communication / awareness actions,
• Carrying out an inventory of illegal dumping in the territory,
• Setting up territorial animation of actors and adapted governance,
• Reflection on waste collection services…
