Preventing floods related to watercourses and associated wetlands – levee system

This financial support mechanism is part of the territorial solidarity led by the Département des Landes, considering the financial effort for certain public actors in the territory to meet their needs alone in terms of studies, works and/or land acquisitions for works falling under Decrees n° 2015-526 of May 12, 2015 and n° 2019-895 of August 28, 2019, relating to the rules applicable to structures built or developed to prevent river floods and to the safety rules of levee systems aimed at protecting property and people.

By derogation from article 6 of the RU, the intervention rates are defined as follows:

I – Knowledge acquisition and project definition
The maximum aid rate from the Department is 25% of the ex-tax amount of eligible expenses, for a minimum eligible expense amount of 5,000 € ex-tax. The applied aid rate may be lower than the maximum rate, particularly depending on other financial contributions in compliance with regulations and particularly that expected by the GEMAPIenne entity.

II – Works
The maximum aid rate from the Department is 30% of the ex-tax amount of eligible expenses, for a minimum eligible expense amount of 10,000 € ex-tax and the aid ceiling is set at 3,000,000 € per GEMAPIenne entity having delegated or transferred the competence…
