Distribute police fine revenues among municipalities (under 10,000 inhabitants)

Objectives

The sums allocated in application of articles R. 2334-10 and R. 2334-11 of the General Code of Local Authorities are used to finance the following operations:

For public transport:

• Developments and equipment improving user safety, public reception, access to networks, connections between networks and with other modes of transport;
• Road/highway developments, equipment intended for better network operation;
• Equipment ensuring user information, traffic evaluation and ticket control.

For road traffic:

• Study and implementation of traffic plans;
• Creation of parking lots;
• Installation and development of traffic lights and horizontal signage;
• Intersection development;
• Traffic differentiation;
• Works required by road safety requirements;
• Studies and implementation of experiments for priority action zones for air provided for in article L. 228-3 of the environmental code.
