Supporting the restoration and preservation of aquatic environments and the improvement of quantitative water resource management during low-water periods

This aid program is intended for project owners who wish to implement projects of general interest in two areas:

• The restoration and preservation of aquatic environments, watercourses and marshes;
• the creation of collective works aimed at improving the quantitative management of water resources during low-water periods.

It aims to encourage and support the investment efforts of project owners by pursuing two objectives:

• improve water resources, in quality and quantity;
• preserve and enhance the department's wetlands.

Project owners must commit to global and solidarity-based upstream-downstream management, seeking a necessary balance between environments and uses.
