DESCRIPTION OF THE REGULATION

The Department provides support, subject to eligibility, for studies and developments of watercourses aimed at restoring and improving the functionalities of aquatic environments and watersheds.

CALCULATION METHOD

• Hydromorphological works:

re-meandering with or without creation of riparian vegetation, restoration of the watercourse to its natural bed, reconstitution of the minor bed and banks, bypass of water bodies, protection of banks, reconnection of hydraulic annexes and restoration of mobility spaces

maximum subsidy rate applicable to the ex-tax expenditure: 20%

• Development of ecological continuity

creation of fish passes, mixed passes

maximum subsidy rate applicable to the ex-tax expenditure: 20%

• Watershed development

land purchase for flood expansion and dynamic slowing, backfilling of ditches, leveling of dikes or longitudinal embankments along watercourses

maximum subsidy rate applicable to the ex-tax expenditure: 20%

• Studies

maximum subsidy rate applicable to the ex-tax expenditure: 20% capped at €100,000 of expenditure
