Support for cultural festivals and events

Particular attention will be paid to events organized in isolated geographical areas and/or outside the summer period, as well as to those working to promote emerging talents, new creations, or artistic innovation.

The scope of the festival and event will be a criterion for evaluating the project. This dimension will be assessed as follows:

- National or international dimension

• Attendance exceeding 10,000 spectators per edition
• Event recognized by professionals in the aesthetic it represents and identified as one of the most important nationally
• Permanent staff assigned to the festival
• Multiple communication plan through national media and supports
• National or international media coverage, general public press
• Direct and quantifiable impact on the local economy in terms of jobs and/or turnover
• Impact on the tourist attractiveness of the territory and articulation with tourism stakeholders

- Structuring dimension for the department

• Festival duration of a minimum of 2 days, consecutive or not
• Share of the artistic budget (assignment contracts, artist fees, travel…
