Support for media libraries (excluding heritage and training)

Exceptionally, and specifically in overseas departments and territories, aid may be granted for the recruitment of personnel in media libraries. This approach differs from aid for continuing education and heritage.

→ Objectives of the approach

As part of the aid to media libraries, media libraries in overseas territories can submit a request for support for the recruitment of personnel, in particular to contribute to the structuring of public reading networks.

The objective is to contribute to the structuring of public reading networks.

→ Nature of eligible expenses

The subsidy paid to structures under the aid to media libraries is an operating subsidy.

The following cannot be subsidized:

• training programs
• recruitment of personnel dedicated to heritage in regional book structures

→ Grant award procedures

The subsidy is paid in one installment.

→ Application evaluation procedures

Submitted applications will be processed by the territorially competent decentralized service of the Ministry of Culture.
