La Banque des Territoires supports local authorities in the development of renewable energy projects involving citizens.

To be eligible, the project must:

• be owned by at least 40% by a group of citizens/local authorities
• concern photovoltaic or wind energy
• be at least 1 MW

The offer includes a minority equity stake in projects under development. The shares will then be transferred to local stakeholders.

La Banque des Territoires, through its partnership with Ademe, also provides educational tools to assist local authorities and citizens in their projects.
