Feasibility studies for renewable electricity production projects overseas and in Corsica

This aid dedicated to the production of renewable energies aims at carrying out electricity production projects using the following technologies:

• photovoltaic for individual (ACI) and collective (ACC) self-consumption;
• onshore and offshore wind power;
• river and marine hydrokinetic power;
• small run-of-river hydropower and micro-hydropower on water pipes;
• wave energy;
• ocean thermal energy;
• osmotic energy;
• pumped-storage hydropower.

The feasibility study, subject to this ADEME aid, concerns the evaluation and analysis of a project's potential (technical, economic, social, environmental, legal, etc.).

It aims to support the decision-making process by objectively and rationally revealing the project's strengths and weaknesses, as well as the opportunities and threats it entails, while specifying the resources needed to carry it out, and ultimately evaluating the chances of success.
