Feasibility studies for waste heat recovery installation

The feasibility study provides the project owner with the technical, economic, regulatory, and environmental elements allowing them to position themselves on the feasibility of a waste heat recovery and valorization operation.

The feasibility study targets a specific solution. This solution must have been defined beforehand by an upstream study (energy audit or opportunity study, for example).

In the absence of an upstream study arguing that the solution to be studied is relevant to the decarbonization roadmap of the industrial site and/or the company, then the opportunity study for the evolution of the energy mix, financed by PACTE Industrie, must be carried out.

The feasibility study allows to:

• verify the technical and economic feasibility of the project;
  
• propose technical solutions adapted to the context and the possibilities offered by the site;
• study solutions in terms of financial and legal arrangements.

This study primarily aims to validate the feasibility of the project in light of a techno-economic compromise within the agreed scope and in coherence with the decarbonization roadmap of the site and the company.
