Deploying a support system for thermal renewable energies for local authorities, businesses, landlords, and associations

Approved in February 2021, the Territorial Climate Air Energy Plan (PCAET) aims to significantly develop renewable and recovery energies (EnR&R). The MEL thus aims to multiply local production by 2.3 between 2016 and 2030.

To do this, the MEL is deploying a renewable heat contract for an initial period of 3 years. Funded by ADEME as part of the Heat Fund, it aims to provide financial and technical support to local stakeholders (excluding individuals): municipalities, businesses, industries, social landlords, co-ownerships, medico-social facilities, agricultural actors - wishing to produce thermal renewable energies (geothermal, biomass, solar thermal, networks, recovery of waste heat).

The system is open to projects of all sizes (new building, rehabilitation, change of heat production) and offers technical and financial support for:

• engineering support,
• financing of diagnostic studies, feasibility studies and project management assistance missions,
• financing of investments.

What funding?

• Up to 70% for studies,
• According to the flat rates of the ADEME heat fund for works.
