Funding for crossing device works to ensure ecological continuity

1/ Works concerning fish passage devices and sediment transit: The devices implemented are consistent with the identified ecological continuity issues: systems for the upstream and downstream migration of migratory species (fish pass, bypass channel, opening system on sea structures, etc.) and arrangements to restore sufficient sediment transit.

The funding of crossing devices is reserved for maintained and in good condition structures, for which a preliminary study justifies that there is an issue for the circulation of fish species or for sediment transit, as well as economic or heritage issues.

In the case of a structure with hydroelectric use, the owner must provide a current electricity purchase contract or equivalent.

Proof of the existence of the right based on title or the legal authorization of the structure must be provided.

A bonus on the aid rate is possible for obstacles with a proven issue for amphihaline migratory species, consistent with the migratory fish management plan (PLAGEPOMI) and the eel management plan.
