Financing preliminary studies for global heritage site enhancement operations

The financial support for these operations aims to foster the emergence of viable projects.

These studies aim to analyze the needs, the potential (strengths and weaknesses) of a heritage site and to propose a project adapted to the identified constraints for optimized enhancement or tourism development. Such studies are essential for decision-making for large-scale tourism development projects.

Regional subsidy calculation methods:

• 20% of the study's cost excluding taxes, subsidy capped at €20,000, within the limit of 80% of public subsidies
• If the project is supported by European credits, the aid rate is 25% of the study's cost excluding taxes, subsidy capped at €20,000, within the limit of 70% of public subsidies.
