In the area, journeys made by residents, particularly home-to-work journeys, are mainly made by car. At a time of dwindling fossil fuels and the necessary reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, it is necessary to find alternative ways of getting around, but also innovative solutions to bring work and residents' places of life closer together.

On this last point, it is also necessary to review living arrangements because certain categories of the population do not find housing adapted to their needs (lack of attractive small typologies, housing associated with services, shared and inclusive housing).
