Intervening in favor of live performance

The draft regulation takes the form of 3 schemes aimed at providing a comprehensive response to the expectations of stakeholders and the specificities of the field:

• Aid for the organization of festivals, events and artistic programs including performances and cultural activities accessible to the general public.
• Aid for the production of shows intended for distribution within professional networks.
• Aid for permanent artistic structures managing an equipment or an itinerant project in the territory as part of a cultural season.

Under scheme n°1, the Department contributes to the organization of festivals, events and artistic programs including performances, concerts and cultural activities (internships, awareness workshops, artist residencies) accessible to the general public. Projects must include their own revenues (ticketing, merchandise sales) with the exception of proposals in public spaces based on a unique artistic approach (scenic space, heritage enhancement).
