As the leading actor in generosity for heritage, the Fondation du patrimoine supports owners by opening donation campaigns, enabling the general public to get involved. A privileged mode of action for the Foundation, nearly 3,000 projects are financed each year thanks to the popular patronage (or crowdfunding) scheme. Donation campaigns represent on average 15% of the financing plan for a restoration project.
