Produce housing

EPF Hauts de France contributes to meeting housing needs by recycling the land necessary for their production.

The establishment intervenes as much in tight markets to quickly mobilize land, particularly for the production of social housing, in relaxed markets to recreate the conditions for better attractiveness for operators, within degraded and impoverished old neighborhoods by requalifying obsolete and unhealthy housing and restructuring the offer, and also on polluted land where pollution treatment costs hinder economic feasibility for private sector actors.

The EPF therefore undertakes the acquisitions necessary for land control of the defined area, ensures the treatment of any sources of pollution and, if necessary, deconstructs the properties. It can also support and advise the community in drawing up a consultation brief intended to select the future operator. In certain cases, the EPF can reduce the sale price of the sites on which it has intervened for housing production.
