The objective of this measure is to structure the regional book and reading territory by supporting a network of reference centers at the regional, national, and international levels, whose mission is notably to complement the cultural action carried out by the public reading network of libraries and media libraries in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur by:
- promoting encounters between the region's public and contemporary creation through dissemination actions and the search for new readers carried out throughout the territory,
- hosting writers and translators or professionals from the book industry in the best professional conditions,
- undertaking professional actions of cooperation and international exchanges aimed at opening up the public and professionals in the sector to the world, and particularly the Euro-Mediterranean area,
- participating in the development of the regional economy through job creation and the tourist attractiveness of the regional territory.
- Local authorities in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region that have submitted a complete application
- Associations whose registered office is located in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur or that have an establishment or branch in the region, have been in existence for at least one year, and have submitted a complete grant application.
