While the letters and numbers are different for each element within ROSES (A.10, B.3, etc.) the basic configuration is always the same, e.g., the letter indicates the Science Division (A is Earth Science, B is Heliophysics etc.) and whatever the letter, #1 is always the division overview. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Science Mission Directorate (SMD) released its annual omnibus Research Announcement (NRA), Research Opportunities in Space and Earth Sciences (ROSES) – 2025 (OMB Approval Number 2700-0092, CFDA Number 43.001) on February 21, 2025. In this case "omnibus" means that this NRA has many individual program elements, each with its own due dates and topics. All together these cover the wide range of basic and applied supporting research and technology supported by SMD. Awards will be made as grants, cooperative agreements, or contracts depending on the nature of the work proposed. However, most extramural research awards deriving from ROSES will be grants, and many program elements of ROSES specifically exclude contracts, because contracts would not be appropriate for the nature of the work solicited. Funded Co-Is at government labs will receive inter- or intra-agency transfers . The typical period of performance for an award is three years, but some programs may allow up to five years and others specify shorter periods. In most cases, organizations of every type, Government and private, for profit and not-for-profit, domestic and foreign (with some caveats), may submit proposals without restriction on teaming arrangements. Summary: The fiscal year 2026 (FY26) Parkinson’s Research Program (PRP) Early Investigator Research Award (EIRA) supports Parkinson’s disease (PD) research for investigators in the early stages of their careers. The FY26 EIRA offers two funding levels, which align to the research career stage of the Principal Investigator (PI). Funding Level 1 (for fellows) requires the investigator to receive guidance from a designated Mentor, whereas Funding Level 2 (for early-career independent investigators) does not. Proposed research must address at least one of the four FY26 PRP Focus Areas . Distinctive Features: · The Early Investigator is considered the PI of the application and must exhibit strong potential for and commitment to pursuing a career as an investigator at the forefront of PD research; however, the PI is not required to have previous PD research experience. · Funding Level 1: Applications must include at least one Mentor appropriate to the proposed research project who has experience in PD research and mentoring, as demonstrated by a record of active funding, recent publications, and successful mentorship. The selected Mentor(s) should also demonstrate a clear commitment to the development of the PI toward independence as a PD researcher. This is a notice of funding opportunity (NOFO) for the OJJDP FY 2026 Community and Schools Youth Drug Prevention Program. This opportunity supports states, units of local government, federally recognized Native American Tribal governments and nonprofit organizations to deliver substance use prevention programs for youth in schools and extracurricular settings in coordination with law enforcement and community coalitions. Political interference in the prosecution service remains a barrier to fighting transnational organized crime and achieving other U.S. objectives in Serbia. Through this NOFO, the National institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) invites an application to continue to follow the Epidemiology of Diabetes Interventions and Complications (EDIC) cohort through a collaborative cooperative agreement that addresses specific knowledge gaps in the development and progression of type 1 diabetes complications. The purpose of this Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is to support eligible Tribes and intertribal consortia to implement approved Nonpoint Source (NPS) management programs developed pursuant to CWA Section 319(b)(1). The Clean Water Act (CWA) Section 319(h) authorizes the EPA to award grants to eligible Tribes and intertribal consortia to implement approved NPS management programs.
