Support for renewable heat and cold production facilities using shallow geothermal, aerothermal, or thalassothermal energy

ADEME invites project leaders to adopt an "EnRChoix" type approach, prioritizing sobriety, the pooling of production means, and the priority mobilization of certain RES&R.

Thus, before making an investment in renewable or recovered heat, the project leader must demonstrate that the following points have been taken into account:

1. reduction of need: reflection and implementation of sobriety and energy efficiency measures on buildings or processes before sizing the biomass boiler room;
2. pooling of needs: connection to an existing virtuous heat network when possible or study of the potential for creating a heat network, in order to pool the renewable heat production tool across several buildings;
3. waste heat recovery: study of locally available waste heat sources and their adequacy with needs;
4. consideration of other locally available RES: study of geothermal and solar thermal potential and their adequacy with needs (alone or in addition to biomass).
